New Weather Stations

Background

To support more informed, real-time decision-making, three weather stations have been installed at the north, central, and south ends of the Sutter Basin. General regional weather reports do not always accurately reflect localized precipitation or wind conditions across the Balley. These stations provide site-specific data to help address those gaps and improve on-the-ground accuracy.

What’s New

Weather stations are now operational at Tisdale, Pelger Road, and Karnak. Data is available through our online portal, giving landowners convenient access to current readings on air temperature, barometric pressure, dew point, wind speed and direction, wind gusts, and additional weather metrics.
